10 Feb Canadian Start-ups Visit Silicon Valley

Silicon Valley is home to the largest population of high tech companies in the world!  Thousands of start-ups, angel investors, and venture capitalists are here as well.  If you are an IT start-up, Silicon Valley is probably on your bucket list. To share this experience with others, Invest Ottawa asked that we help host some innovative start-ups from its portfolio. The guests are Aetonix, LassooTheWeb, Treasure Chest Marketplace and Zighra. The goal is to give them a little advice and introduce them around for potential networking opportunities. During their stay we’re trying to help organize meetings and visits to the US investors, the C100, Plug & Play, CTA, and the Canadian Consulate.

We met our guests a few days ago, and had a great time hosting our Canadian themed gathering at my house in sunny California. Here are some photos of the event:
