FORMVERSE is fully integrated with Microsoft Outlook/365 as an extension, and can be deployed to any Outlook-enabled desktop or any browser-accessible device.

Embedded Structured Forms in Email

FORMVERSE emails contain embedded XML-based forms that enable data to be collected in a structured manner, which allows automated processing of information via processing rules, automated extraction and storage in a database, as well as integration with other enterprise applications.

User-transparent use of FORMVERSE Email

FORMVERSE email containing electronic forms within the Microsoft Outlook/365 environment are sent and received as regular emails, and can be managed and archived just like regular email.

Policy-driven Email

Each FORMVERSE email is designed to meet the requirements of the recipient and to ensure that vital data and information important to the recipient will be processed and actioned appropriately and in a timely manner.

FORMVERSE Access Rules

FORMVERSE administrators can define specific rules regarding which users have access to which forms. Once defined, authorized users can start a process by simply choosing an email-based form from a menu within Microsoft Outlook or Office 365 email.

FORMVERSE Processing Rules

FORMVERSE administrators can define specific rules for the processing of FORMVERSE structured emails to ensure that the emails are routed to the appropriate addresses until the entire process is complete. Processing rules also determine if and when data contained within a FORMVERSE email needs to be extracted and where the extracted data should be placed (e.g., an enterprise application or database).

Workflow Execution Capabilities

The FORMVERSE system can execute complex business workflows against pre-defined access and processing rules.

Visual Design for Business Workflows

Business workflows are designed using the FORMVERSE Workflow Editor, an intuitive and user-friendly graphical editor. Visualized workflow diagrams provide a straightforward way to review, understand and simplify even the most complex business processes. These workflow rules are designed without entering a single line of code.

Any-device Access for a Mobile Workforce

Your staff can initiate forms and take action on forms right from within their existing Microsoft Outlook or Office 365 email or from any browser-enabled device including smartphones and tablets. Regardless of the entry point, all data is stored within the same SQL Server database.

Real-Time Reporting for all Users

Your staff has the ability to view real-time reports right from within Microsoft Outlook or Office 365 email. Reports are available for staff regardless of if they are a form originator or a participant in the process.  Reports are customizable.

Easy Integration with Other Enterprise Applications

FORMVERSE can be used as an effective way to securely collect data, which can then be extracted based on recipient defined processing rules and integrated with enterprise applications and databases.

Installed at your Data Center or Available as a Hosted Solution

FORMVERSE is an on-premise application that can be installed directly at your data center or can be hosted by FORMVERSE on a Tier 1 Cloud Provider. FORMVERSE uses your existing Microsoft infrastructure and relies on Microsoft Outlook of Microsoft Office 365 email, Microsoft Exchange/365, and Microsoft SQL Server technologies to create an easy-to-use yet powerful and secure workflow automation system for your staff.

FORMVERSE can be used as an effective way to securely collect data, which can then be extracted based on recipient-defined processing rules and integrated with enterprise applications and databases. FORMVERSE PASSPORT is a module that works with the FormVerse Software. It enables organizations to easily and powerfully integrate and exchange data between FORMVERSE Emails and your other Enterprise Databases.

FORMVERSE PASSPORT implements connector framework that is designed to provide common services that are required while designing extensible integration applications. These out of the box services include the following:

KEY FEATURES OF FORMVERSE PASSPORT

Service Management and Configuration UI

Configurability is one of the key features allowing custom configurable adapters, the connector framework provides a pluggable architecture where custom connector adapters can be introduced and removed dynamically.

Data Protection

A basic encryption and decryption for configurable text values is provided as part of the connector data protection services.

Event Notification and Scheduling

Connector modules can subscribe to an event notification service that will allow them to run and execute their desired task in a scheduled fashion.

Persistent Connector Configuration

The persistency of connector configuration is provided by the connector configuration. Any configurable component is written into a file, after being it is configured using the “Connector Task Configuration” user interface.

Windows Service

The connector framework runs as a windows service. By implementing a default windows service implementation that can process configured components of the connector framework, it facilitates the prompt deployment of custom connector adapters.

Input and Output Points Implementation

Default implementations for reading an input from a file and writing an output into a file are included with the connector framework.

Custom connector adapters can also provide extended implementations for different type of input and output mechanisms.

Logging

FORMVERSE PASSPORT provides mechanism for logging into a file.

XSLT Transformation Action: FORMVERSE PASSPORT provides default implementation for an XSLT based transformation action.
